Invalid entity_id set

Hey,

since upgrading to 2026.02.0 I get that message:

Detected that custom integration 'aarlo' sets an invalid entity ID: 'camera.aarlo_haustür'. In most cases, entities should not set entity_id, but if they do, it should be a valid entity ID.. This will stop working in Home Assistant 2027.2.0, please create a bug report at https://github.com/twrecked/hass-aarlo/issues

In many ways 2026.2.1 is a break fix to the February major release. Try that first. This has also already been documented in #1119 .

Otherwise the easiest fix is to rename that camera in the Arlo app to remove the umlaut, then refresh the aarlo integration so it can recreate the entity ids. Limit names to only spaces and ASCII alphanumeric characters for the time being.

I am already on 2026.2.1. Sorry, maybe I mentioned that not in detail.

Will there be a fix at some time? Because in germany it is called Tür and I can imagine that there is a way to handle that.
