Description

When playing Dailymotion’s embedded player on third‑party sites with ad‑blocking enabled, the video playback suddenly jumps to “ended” state while the audio continues. The player then auto‑plays the next item even though the current audio is still intact. Reloading the player once or twice restores normal playback.

Steps to reproduce:

Click play to play video

instantly Player state jumps to “ended.”

Next video auto‑plays.

Current audio continues in background.

Tested with AdGuard separately: playback worked fine in this case, so the issue appears specific to uBlock Origin’s filter handling.
