Force tray icons to 'background apps' menu

GNOME opposes tray icons and prefers it's 'background apps' menu. It would be nice if the extension had an option to honor that decision.

Yeah, indeed it's something I've been experimenting already and I wanted to add this mode too.

In qBittorrent if the tray icon is present it also shows in the background apps menu. Would it not be as simple as just not showing the icons in the tray, but running the processes as normal? Or would other changes be needed?

I'm currently busy with a migration project to another cloud provider, and my schedule is extremely tight right now. Unfortunately, I won't be able to dedicate time to this issue in the near term.

Hopefully, in about 3-4 weeks I'll have more availability and may be able to take a look then.
