createcloudimageplugin does not support gifs

Hi, I'm looking to use portive in my application through createcloudplugin and createCloudImagePlugin. but the plugins don't seem to support gifs.

However createImagePlugin does seem to support it. I'm wondering why its missing from the cloud plugins and if there's straightforward way to enable it.

Any recommendations ?

I was copying and pasting gifs, and that doesn't actually copy the gif. Ignore me
