The result of pasting a link dosen't makes sense

I feel the result of Pasting a link after selecting texts is confusing

Steps

To reproduce the behavior:

1. Selecting texts
2. Coping a link
3. Paste
4. See error

Expectation

After pasting, the selected texts should be removed and the link need to be pasted.

I get what you are saying, but I beg to differ. I think if it is a nice feature that the selected text become the link to the pasted url.
(If I do not want it I just have to hit del / backspace before ctl+v and problem solved.)
It could be unexpected at first, but it is definitely not unheard of, ie. slack does the same when you paste a link.

While I think it can be up for discussion that this is how it should work or not at it current stage it is definitely not a bug.
