The documentation for the collection is out dated, the content examples are not working anymore on umbraco 14 and 15.

I would like to know how to set the membername in a collection with a member picker. Can this page be updated with new examples that work in version 14 and 15?

Hi there @Timvdburgt !

We've identified that there currently is an issue with using Umbraco Flavoured Markdown together with the Member Picker and Collections.
This is being looked into, and we should have updated docs available later today.

There is a workaround though:
Instead of using the Member Picker, you can configure a Content Picker to use Members.
With this in place, you can use {umbContentName:value} to get the name of the member to show in your collection.
