Dependency Versions #6
Description
To run TAXAassign successfully you will need to have the following versions of the dependencies.
- Blastn 2.28+ (as mentioned in the documentation)
- Python 2 (MySQLdb module is not supported in Python 3)
- Need to install MySQLdb. If the installation fails with
EnvironmentError: mysql_config not found, you have to install libmysqlclient-dev. - Some version of Perl between 5.10 and 5.14 (Versions older than 5.10 do not support the Smart Match operator ~~ and the use of 'defined' with arrays is deprecated in version 5.16 and above)
