Describe the issue

When "Capture input automatically when entering full screen" is enabled, entering fullscreen makes UTM wedge and become unusable. The VM successfully enters fullscreen, but the modal saying that input was captured appears over it and cannot be dismissed. When the "OK" button on the modal is clicked, it appears to depress, but the modal doesn't dismiss. Keyboard input is sent to the VM, and pointer input isn't sent to the guest or the host, but Spaces gestures still work. UTM cannot be quit, because of the active modal, which cannot be dismissed. It has to be force-quit and relaunched.

I have a screen recording, but it's too large to attach, but I'd be happy to share on some no-registration video upload site, if you know of one.

Configuration

  • UTM Version: Version 4.6.4 (107)
  • macOS Version: Sequoia 15.1 (24B2082)
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M4 Max
