@s-h-a-d-o-w I've vibe-coded an NPM package that offers a standardized model access logic: https://github.com/lbke/ai-sdk-model-picker. I couldn't try the dynamic loading yet but I will in some projects, let me know what you think of the API and if you can test it. I didn't implement version support though, it only shows the latest supported models for now as the history could be too hard to track. |

As a starting point you can use https://www.npmjs.com/package/tokenlens wich provides you with a provider and model catalog based on https://models.dev/.

With models continuously changing and different versions of the SDK supporting different models, it would be really great if there was a command that lists the models that a given version supports.
(Example from the docs: "To use o3-mini, you must be using @ai-sdk/openai version 1.1.9 or greater.")
