Middleware doesn't work since Next 15

Summary

Since we upgraded to Next 15, Middleware doesn't trigger anymore in production mode. It does still in dev mode. And it did with 14, while we didn't change anything related to it. We use the standalone version, see https://github.com/research-software-directory/RSD-as-a-service/blob/main/frontend/Dockerfile.

I don't have a minimal example, that't why I'm posting here instead of opening an issue.

For debugging sake, if you remove standalone mode, and just do next start does it come back? Is the standalone bad behaviour, with Docker, or without? both?
