Description

While testing the Volcano website using Google Lighthouse in Mobile mode, the audit reported the following scores:

The Performance score is below the recommended threshold and should be improved to provide a faster and smoother experience on mobile devices. The Accessibility score can also be improved by addressing the remaining Lighthouse recommendations.

Expected Result

• Improve Performance score to 90+ in Mobile mode.
• Improve Accessibility score to 95+.
• Maintain Best Practices and SEO scores at 100.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the Volcano website.
2. Open Chrome DevTools.
3. Navigate to the Lighthouse tab.
4. Select Mobile mode.
5. Generate a Lighthouse report.
6. Observe the following Lighthouse scores:
   • Performance: 73
   • Accessibility: 93
   • Best Practices: 100
   • SEO: 100

Acceptance Criteria

• Lighthouse Performance score is 90+ in Mobile mode.
• Lighthouse Accessibility score is 95+ in Mobile mode.
• Best Practices score remains 100.
• SEO score remains 100.
• Lighthouse recommendations are reviewed and addressed where applicable.
• No regressions in functionality after optimizations.
