Question about optionalGlyphs in Metadata

I'm reading the SMuFL documents and I have a question about optional glyphs. In the documentation for optionalGlyphs under the "Metadata for SMuFL-compliant fonts" section, it states that "optionalGlyphs" structure contains a list of all the optional glyphs which code points range are U+F400–U+FFFF.

But the range of the Unicode Private Use Area used by SMuFL is U+E000–U+F8FF. And in "Recommended characters and optional glyphs" it says optional glyphs must be within the range U+F400–U+F8FF.

So what's going on here?

Thanks for alerting me to this: it's a typo in the specification. It is correct that the optional glyphs range is U+F400 to U+F8FF. I'll make sure this gets fixed.
