Request driver for Kernel version 6.6.62

Using an RPi5 64-bit updated to the latest kernel the display (13.3" DSI) stays black. Can we please have drivers for 6.6.62 ? Thanks

You can install a specific kernel version https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-update/blob/master/README.md#options

I just did on my RPi4 sudo rpi-update eb9cee125c314f3d9c46f62596e7e89efcc20931 which was the last commit before 6.6.54, i now have 6.6.51

There are some big warnings that stuff might break so I take no responsibility if your raspi doesnt boot after trying this

I have no idea if this will stay or if it will auto update to a newer version. so it would be nice if Waveshare updated the driver or at least gave us a way to build it. but for now i have the display working on the latest version rasbian 12 on RPi4
