As the title explains, each time I reopen Obsidian I need to verify the token in the Plugin settings. Once I do that, the plugin successfully creates the task. But I wonder why I need to re-verify the token each time. Thank you for any suggestions on how to overcome this challenge.

Thank you for opening the issue; that's a bit unusual. Can you try the following?
First, can you try installing the plugin in another vault and see if you observe the same thing?
Second, can you open the Obsidian console (Toggle developer tools), repeat what you observed, and check if you see any messages related to Todoist Context Bridge?
Third, before reopening Obsidian—when you do reopen Obsidian—you will need to re-verify the token now. However, before you reopen Obsidian, can you check if the Todoist token value is saved in the plugin folder in the data.json file?
