Scale Editor: if 'scale' is cleared, Scale Editor becomes non-functional #5

Description

@dndrks

Issue: if scale is cleared (removing note quantization), all the notes functionality in the Scale Editor stops working until quantization is re-enabled.

Repro Steps:

  • Either:
    • Boot Atrium, clear scale, enter the Scale Editor
    • Boot Atrium, enter the Scale Editor, clear scale
  • All of the UI functions as expected visually (eg. you can change the UI's note value for each step)
  • If you're running the arpeggiator or expecting the note value to seed to the active voices, though, you only hear the original scale values – you cannot change the pitches that seed to the voices even if you change them in the UI
  • If you exit the Scale Editor and come back in, you still cannot hear the new values when running the arpeggiator
  • The only way to get the changes to take effect is to re-enable scale quantization

Player Assumptions:
There are a few assumptions about how things will work, depending on the player's goals...

  • I believe the 'buggy' behavior is separate of the question of 'what should happen when you enter the Scale Editor without quantization?' – if the Scale Editor shows me that I'm changing values and the arpeggiator is crawling those values, I expect to hear the changes
  • If the Scale Editor is inherently meant to be a quantized mode (even though a 'scale' might include microtonal offsets), then I shouldn't be able to disable quantization inside of the Scale Editor
  • Possible FR: If I enter the Scale Editor, I assume that disabling quantization will afford me the same notes operation as when I'm in outside of the Scale Editor (even though I know that the voicing touchplate is how I typically add microtonal movement to each scale step); eg. I can then define an unquantized scale with the notes slider and if I then re-enable quantization while playing, I can spread a chord as-defined by my wobbly scale (rather than the current microtonal spread in 'play'/'manual' mode)
