This question came up during the presentation at FOSS Talk Live 😀

The first thing you need to understand is this; we were working on our games in secrecy. I didn't know what Mark and popey were doing and they didn't know what I was doing.

Here's the reason, the sound and music engines use pkill which requires the process-control snapd interface.

popey is a reviewer, had I uploaded this game to the snap store popey would have been alerted to my most bodacious and awesome game 😁

I have a snapcraft.yaml on my workstation at home. Now I have crushed Mark and popey, I can publish the snap. But in a week or so, because I'm galavanting at the moment ✈️
