Is BeamformIt able to process realtime data like a pipeline and what is the sampling rate limit?

I'm looking for a solution for a good beamformer to put into a high quality Raspberry Pi webcam I'm building, since I'm tired of low quality audio. Can it be implemented for such a realtime solution and is there any limitation to the sampling rate?

I have not tried it. I do not see why it should not work as it uses very basic libraries that should all work in the raspberry-pi. If you try it out, please report your results.
