It would nice to have build support on Windows without WSL.

Used to work older builds in xemu, so don't know if this is regression or not

It still has the functions to work in the current build system iirc, it just takes a long time (30-45 minutes depending on the system) to compile, thus it was deprecated for Ubuntu cross compilation

I'm not an avid Windows user - what kind of system lacks WSL but has MSYS2?

Hiya Dracc! Anything older than Windows 10 ver 1903 (2018-ish)
