Setting universal Markdown link shortcodes

There are links such as https://stream.tommi.space/@tommi that I find myself writing and re-writing over and over. It would be useful to take advantage of Markdown shortcodes to set e.g. [@[email protected]] to always correspond to the url above.

In order to make this feature actually usable, it is necessary that it works both in my development environment and in production.
