Description
Preliminary Checks
- I have read and understood the important section above.
- I have searched existing issues and avoided creating duplicates.
- I am not filing an enhancement request.
- I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
- I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.
What happened?
I use a Hammerspoon-based window manager to snap apps into predefined cells on my monitor. With Zen, I have to trigger my hotkey 2 or 3 times before it finally moves to where I intend it to go. It almost looks as if there's an animation that's preventing it from moving/resizing properly on first try. Zen is the first application that's ever given me problems with this.
Expected behavior
I would expect there to be no move/resize animation, and for the window to snap into place on first try.
Actual behavior
It takes multiple tries before Zen snaps into place.
Steps to reproduce
Download the Divvy demo and try to resize Zen with Divvy.
Screenshots and videos
Here is a gif video example of me trying to snap this window to the left side of my monitor, which takes multiple tries before it ends up in my desired position:
To rule out any funkyness with my window manager, I thought I would also try Divvy window manager as well. The same thing happens there:
