Google Calendar and Gmail favicons reset to default Google G logo in pinned sidebar bookmarks

• I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

When Google Calendar or Gmail are pinned in the Zen sidebar, their favicons often revert to the default Google “G” icon instead of keeping the site-specific favicon.

Expected behavior

The pinned sidebar bookmark keeps the correct Google Calendar or Gmail favicon consistently.

Actual behavior

The favicon resets to the default Google G logo every time the bookmark is pinned in the sidebar.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Google Calendar or Gmail.
2. Add the page as a pinned bookmark in the sidebar.
3. Restart Zen or otherwise reload the sidebar/bookmark state.
4. Observe that the favicon resets to the default Google G logo.

I'm working on a fix for this issue, can I be assigned the same?

Have realized the following:

• Root cause: pin-time snapshot (_zenPinnedInitialState.image) can capture Gmail/Calendar's favicon before it swaps from the default Google "G" to the real site icon
• On restart, #resetTabToStoredState in ZenPinnedTabManager.mjs restores from that stale snapshot, overwriting the correct favicon
• Fix: prefer a fresh PlacesUtils.favicons.getFaviconForPage lookup at reset time
• Fall back to initialState.image only if Places has nothing cached
• Requires making #resetTabToStoredState async and checking its callers handle that safely
