WFS Server Unavailable - 502 Bad Gateway Error

Hi there, I'm pretty new to this repo, but used is since some weeks for calculations of wind zoning (rural/urban) for building engineering.

but since a few days i keep getting :WFS Server Unavailable - 502 Bad Gateway Error

The Web Feature Service (WFS) endpoint documented in the README is currently returning 502 Bad Gateway errors, making it impossible to access the Global Building Atlas data via WFS.
WFS Endpoint

URL: https://tubvsig-so2sat-vm1.srv.mwn.de/geoserver/ows?
Error: 502 Bad Gateway
Server: nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu)

Is this just me, or do more people have this experience?
I'm not too experienced with all this.

Same here!
WFS GetCapabilities returns 502/504 from the reverse proxy. WMS capabilities load, but WFS fails. This usually indicates a broken or slow WFS datastore or feature type causing GeoServer to hang during capabilities generation.

Anyone know when the maintenance will be completed? I keep getting this window pop-up and no data:
"[Jan. 27, 2026] Scheduled maintenance from Jan. 28, 2026, 12:00 CET."

I'm assuming this is related to the WFS Server Unavailable - 502 Bad Gateway Error

I don't know if this is a similar issue but when I access the website aside from the usual "Scheduled Maintenance" pop-up, the map doesn't display any polygons at all. I've had the same problem for more than 3 months.

This is still an issue in April 2026 guys. WFS is still down, and the only thing we see on the website is "[Jan. 27, 2026] Scheduled maintenance from Jan. 28, 2026, 12:00 CET."

it appears the WFS server is running again,
or i should say, my app that uses the GBA WFS server starts giving me data again after testing it just now
So it looks like its resolved ?
