Italian coverage: missing tiles south of lat 40°N (Sicily, southern Calabria)

Looking at the LoD1/europe and Polygon/europe directories on HuggingFace, the southernmost tiles available end at latitude 40°N as the southern boundary.

This means Sicily and southern Calabria are not covered — for example, Palermo (13.4°E, 38.1°N) would need tile e010_n40_e015_n35, which does not exist.

Questions:

1. Is there a plan to extend coverage south of lat 40°N for Italy (Sicily, southern Calabria, Lampedusa)?
2. Is the gap in central Milan a known data quality issue, or related to the polygon source used for that area?
3. Are there alternative access methods (e.g., per-city extracts, different tiling) that might provide better Italian coverage?
