GNU Screen terminates after starting up

Interesting, I saw that early when it wasn't able to open a /dev/ptyp* device. Can you check if those devices exist?
I also enabled logging under /tmp/debug/, are you able to send those files to me?

Logs are enabled by default, for now, and available under /tmp/debug/*

Wow Igor, you must have already put in a fix. I've done a few $ zopen update since this issue was opened. I've not done screen since then. With that said, the original issue is not there. I can create two screen's and cycle between them. The column spacing is off, but it is functional.

Anyway, I started screen up to get you a log file.

$ ls -ld /tmp/d*

Does not show /tmp/debug or anything related.

When I do start up screen though, it shows a brief message which says,

SetTTY (fd 0): ioctl failed: EDC5139I Operation not permitted

Interesting, the latest build should emit logs to /tmp/debug/*. You ran zopen upgrade screen? You can confirm you're on the latest by checking the .releaseinfo file in zopen/prod/screen. It should match the tag of the latest build.

Also, the ioctl and prompt issues should have be resolved in that build as well.

After doing the upgrade, the SeTTY ioctl message went away, the screen works, even when splitting the screen. And the /tmp/debug directory contains three files:
