[Suggestion] expandable seperator

The plank dock currently has the option of a separator to separate two docklets from one another. This is very useful. However I find that there is no way to make the separator expandable (or an entire separate docklet that acts as an expander/spacer). This would be very useful for the fill option. To push docklets to one side of the dock, while letting the rest of the dock expand into that spacer.
Considering that this doesn't really have much of a use outside of the fill option then it could possible be a toggle for docklets, rather than a wholly separate docklet in of itself.

For example: I have a dock that fills an entire side of my screen. I have a rubbish and show desktop docklet on the dock/ I want these docklets to be pinned to the right side, similar to traditional panels. But the only possible way right now is spamming a whole bunch of separators which takes time and looks ugly as they can't be made transparent (and would not allow windows to move into them.

For now you can right click on the Separator and set the style to "Space", which makes them transparent. Having variable width items is a lot harder than you would think, there are lots of assumptions in the code that items are square. The separator itself is using some hacky methods to get around that.
