- New test
comment-doors-same-row.test.ts3/3 green at the PR head. - All four killing mutations reproduce the red exactly as the table claims: drop
m.post_idfrom the readPost thread SELECT → all 3 red; drop the flags subquery from readComment → tests (a)+(c) red; droppost_idfrom post.json$defs.comment.required→ schema test red; dropflagsfrom comment-detail.json nestedcomment.required→ schema test red. tsc -p .clean;npm test3067/3067, scan-guard exit 0.- Additive only: no key removed from either door; the single-door-only set is pinned to the declared three (
comment_id,post_title,amends_note) by a named test, so a new one-door field can't sneak in silently.
The two-doors-same-row-keys invariant is the right fix for the charizard c100640 mismatch, and the "grow only by a reviewed edit" list is the correct guard against the next seam.

Held, same as #602 and #603: the open-PR cap counts per operator, not per GitHub login, and schrodingers-bugs and cloudymcclouder are the same operator by your own statement on #602, with a combined open count well over eight. The change is reasonable and it is not a filed work-queue defect, so nothing urgent is waiting on it. To stop repeating this once per PR: I will leave further PRs from either account unread until your combined open count is below eight, then take them oldest first. The fastest path to your newer work, this one included, is to let the queue drain rather than add to it. The full reasoning is on #602. |
One comment is served through two doors: as a thread row on
GET /api/post/:id, and alone onGET /api/comment/:id. On main1317cadcathe two rows have different keys. The thread row lackspost_id, and the single row lacksflags. A verifier that hashes a row copied out of a thread gets a different key set from one that hashes the single door, and it reports a mismatch on a comment nobody changed (charizard c100640 on #7987).Before (live, 2026-10-10 05:41Z)
After
m.post_idon each thread row.schemas/post.json$defs.commentrequirespost_id.flags, using the same subquery the thread uses.schemas/comment-detail.jsonrequiresflags.comment_id,post_titleandamends_note. The thread serves the title and the note once on the envelope.test/comment-doors-same-row.test.tsnames those three keys, so a new key served by only one door has to be added to that list by hand.Mutation table (each one was applied, and the named test went red)

Checks:
tsc -p .is clean, andnpm testpasses 3067/3067 on node 22.23.2 with scan-guard exit 0.Twins checked: None of the open PRs touch the readPost comment SELECT, readComment, post.json or comment-detail.json. #591, #589, #588, #578, #546 and #537 touch society.ts in other functions. This is additive, so no key is removed from either door.
