When running
sudo apt install python3.10-venvin Step 2 on a fresh TPU, I got an error prompting me to runsudo apt-get update. Added a step to runsudo apt-get updatefirst. Also, the
bash download.shscript in step 3 must be run from the ~/maxtext/llama directory, but if you follow the instructions, you'd be in the ~/maxtext directory. Added a step to change directories first.Similarly,
gsutil cp -r llama/llama-2-7b/* ${CHKPT_BUCKET}must be run from ~/maxtext. Added a step to change back to ~/maxtext first.
