Approach

• simulate classically (magnetic dipole)
• simulate semi-quantum mechanically (perhaps as a wave packet?)
• Do this properly in 3D, i.e. flight direction and x-y on screen.

Objectives

1. implement classical electrodynamics-based trajectories
2. implement semi-quantum mechanical propagation
3. simulate pattern on screen in x-y and compare to experiment
