Requirements
Note
This page is accurate as of Polyconomy v0.7.2.
This page describes the compatibility requirements to run Polyconomy.
Warning
'Compatible' means that the plugin should work on these MC versions, but does not guarantee we can help you. It's much preferred you run the latest MC version that is 'Supported'. All 'Supported' versions are 'Compatible' and we are generally able to provide more help for issues encountered on these versions. This is set up due to old MC versions or server software causing difficult bugs to triage that are solved by you keeping up to date. :)
| Server Software | Supported Versions | Compatible Versions | Minimum Java Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PaperMC | MC 1.21.7 | MC 1.21.x | Java 21 | |
| SpigotMC | MC 1.21.7 | MC 1.21.x | Java 21 | No Paper API!¹ |
Important
Keep your software up-to-date. For instance, if you're experiencing issues on an old Paper build, we'll ask you to try with the latest.
Although running Polyconomy with server software of a compatible version should work (see table below), if it's not also listed as a supported version, we likely won't be able to assist if something isn't working for you (and in that case, we encourage you to investigate).
Notes:
-
Polyconomy may choose to use PaperMC features if your server software is PaperMC or a fork/derivative of it.
Server software not using the Paper API will miss out on features or internal enhancements made possible by the Paper API.
