A comfortable, native screenshot tool for macOS.
ComfyShot lives in your menu bar and keeps screen capture close at hand. Capture a display, select a region, or stitch together scrolling content. Each result appears in a lightweight stack on the display where it was captured, ready to open, drag into another app, edit, or dismiss.

- Resizable area capture with live dimensions
- Scrolling capture for content that extends beyond the viewport
- Per-display screenshot stacks with an overflow gallery
- Drag-and-drop PNGs directly into other apps
- Shift-click to select multiple screenshots and drag them together
- Configurable multi-image drag previews: Default, None, Pile, List, or Stack
- Built-in image editor with drawing tools, undo, redo, and PNG export
- Customizable global keyboard shortcuts
- Configurable selection overlay and editor defaults
- Automatic updates through Sparkle

After taking a screenshot, hover over it to reveal its controls. You can open it as a PNG, draw and annotate it in the built-in editor, drag it into another app, or remove it from the stack. Hold Shift and click screenshots to select multiple images, then drag the selection into another app. Selected screenshots can also be cleared from the menu-bar menu.
To choose how multiple screenshots appear while dragging, open ComfyShot → Settings → General → Drag Preview Formation.
