Regions are now by default merged into a single larger region when the mouse hovers over the edge between two adjacent regions. Furthermore, when holding the
<ALT>key modifier, the region can further be expanded by hovering the mouse over more regions. The single large region is previewed live before snapping, so the user can see exactly where the window will end up.Both of the features can be switched off in the settings menu. They have been enabled by default as it seems to work quite intuitive, and it is still very easy to snap a window into just a single region.
This PR merges the work in #17 and #19 by @carrot-sticks and @Icestou .
