A personal, read-only tool that collects public posts from financial subreddits to gauge community sentiment around US stocks.
- Searches Reddit financial communities for mentions of stock tickers
- Reads publicly available post data (title, body, score, timestamp)
- Runs local sentiment analysis using VADER (lexicon-based NLP)
- Outputs daily sentiment scores per stock for personal research
- Never posts, comments, votes, or sends messages on Reddit
- Never modifies any content on Reddit
- Never shares or sells collected data
- Never operates as a bot within any subreddit

Respects Reddit API rate limits. PRAW handles throttling automatically. The app runs once daily.
