RiverWatch is a web application designed for monitoring water levels of the Saint John River in New Brunswick, Canada. It enables users to take preemptive measures to mitigate the impacts of flooding events.
This application was developed by volunteers at Civic Tech Fredericton, a non-profit organization based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, which connects volunteer technologists with community needs.
The data utilized by River Watch Mobile is provided by the Water Sciences unit at the Department of Environment and Local Government (ELG) and hosted by GeoNB / Service New Brunswick (SNB). Both ELG and SNB are departments of the Government of New Brunswick
