Do not merge now! Work in progress!

I have added

a testing framework with mocha/chai
create a test suite for the validateExtension method
refactored that method (used ES6, is that OK?)

What is left to be done?

integrate a module manager like browserify
divide the code in chat.js in several modules, being utils one of them
