Einstein3D Framework (E3DF for short) is a set of Z80 assembly libraries for developing 3D isometric games for the ZX Spectrum.
This is a work-in-progress, started in July 2023, and expected to be finished in some months or years. You can read about it in Spanish in my personal blog.
In next days or weeks a new chapter will be included, explaining the last progress with "ejemplo10" (example10): the resolution of the "antitransitive cycle" problem. I first mentioned this problem (and I took a very bad solution) in comportamiento y ordenación after reading filmation-math.
My intention is to write a complete isometric arcade-adventure game (such as "Head over Heels") for the ZX Spectrum, named "Einstein's Adventures in Quantumland" (EAiQ for short). This framework is named "Einstein3D" to emphasize both the game's name which will use it first, and that a "real" 3D world is possible with this framework.
EAiQ, E3DF and this repository now: In terms of Set Theory, EAiQ is a subset of E3DF, and the code within this repository is a subset of E3DF that intersects with EAiQ. Since EAiQ and E3DF are not completely programmed, I do not know how much of EAiQ and E3DF is in this repository now. It will be 100% when finished.
- ejemplo10/ficheros.txt: Size-in-bytes and modification-time for each file (output of "ls */* -l --time-style=long-iso" in bash).
- ejemplo10/assets: Some intemediate files used to obtain the sprite-files src/dado.asm and src/prsm668.asm.
- ejemplo10/src: Z80-Assembly source code for program ejemplo10, Z80-Assembly and Sinclair-BASIC source code for programs TarjanSCC, TarjanSCC2, and TarjanSCC3.
- ejemplo10/dist: ZX Spectrum machine code (in any emulator and real machines) for programs ejemplo10, TarjanSCC, TarjanSCC2, and TarjanSCC3; in BIN, Z80 or TAP formats, using pasmo for assembling, and fuse for snapshots and screenshots.
