I'm Denis, a part-time freelancer developer doing random stuff since 2015 🪐

😄 Hello, I'm just a programming enthusiast that likes solving some difficult tasks and create uncommon solutions.

🧊 Previously was an active Minecraft modder and modpack developer, there are some repositories around Minecraft modding here and there with more than 25 millions of downloads overall.

🌍 I'm currently practicing in Java and enterprise frameworks to move on from gaming to something serious development. I love learning stuff and solving tasks that I previously wasn't able to solve.

🌑 I like doing space-related projects from time to time and I wish to step on Mars at least one time in this life. Sounds a bit crazy, right?

🐲 Love playing with VR, AI and something related to space.

My Skill Set

Frontend

I have worked with basic HTML5, CSS, JS, Bootstrap. Also have a bit of knowledge of PHP, Vue, React, Blade and Laravel. While it is not my main direction of development or programming, but I'll understand some basics of frontend development.

Backend

Mainly, I have worked with Java and Java-related frameworks most of the time. I have worked with Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Spark Framework, databases (JDBC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite) and so on. Also I worked with C#, Python and a bit of C++. Previously did comissioned mods, plugins for games and now practicing on creating enterprise solutions on Java. Just started learning Spring Framework.

DevOps

I have worked with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, worked on both Windows Server and UNIX ecosystems and servers to maintain uptime of my projects. Worked previously as system administrator of many Minecraft servers. Basically, did a bunch of tasks related to connecting multiple servers in-between, extending the limits, doing load-balancing and so on.
