My Spelling Game is a browser-based spelling practice tool for students, parents, and teachers. Enter your own spelling words and start immediately, with no student login required.
My Spelling Game is best for focused practice with weekly or custom spelling lists, no-login student activities, and Parent/Teacher Workspace workflows for saved lists, assignments, progress, and mastery.
- Own spelling words: Paste or type any spelling list and practice it right away.
- Spelling Test: Hear each word, type the answer, and get instant feedback.
- Typing Rain: Practice spelling through a fast typing game.
- Missed-word retry: Review and retry missed words after a practice round.
- Photo import: Parent and Teacher plans can read a school spelling list from a photo. Review and edit the detected words before adding them.
- Example sentences: Add your own sentences for dictation, or use the curated example-sentence library on supported plans.
My Spelling Game has four access levels: Anonymous Practice → Free Workspace → Parent Plan → Teacher Plan. Students never need their own account.
- No login required.
- Practice up to 20 words per list with Spelling Test, Typing Rain, and immediate missed-word retry.
- Results are not saved as tracked Workspace history.
Free Workspace requires a parent or teacher account. It supports up to 30 words per list and includes:
- 1 active assignment
- First 4 full results per account per calendar month (UTC); further submissions are saved
- 1 saved list
- 1 student profile
- 14 days of progress and mastery history
Smart Review, Today’s Review, Photo Import, and automatic example sentences are not included in Free Workspace.
Parent Plan requires a parent account and supports up to 40 words per list. It includes:
- Up to 5 active assignments
- Unlimited tracked submissions and saved lists
- Up to 5 child profiles
- 365-day progress and mastery history
- Smart Review, Today’s Review, Photo Import, and automatic example sentences from the curated library
Teacher Plan requires a teacher account and supports up to 40 words per list. It includes the Parent Plan paid capabilities, plus:
- Up to 10 active assignments
- Up to 40 student profiles
- Class Join and Student PINs
- CSV Export
- Class-wide missed-word statistics
Class Join/PIN, CSV Export, and class-wide missed-word statistics are Teacher-only features. Parents and teachers can use the shared paid capabilities only through their respective paid plans; they are not free after signing in.
Students can open a shared practice or assignment link and begin without creating an account or password.
