Updates the active repository roadmap so development has a clear finite endpoint.

What changed

  • rewrites ROADMAP.md around the current 2026 repository state;
  • records the completed presentation-infrastructure work;
  • lists the completed causal-inference expansion;
  • defines the remaining causal-inference work as:
  • adds an explicit hard stop after consolidation;
  • defines maintenance mode for the causal-inference domain;
  • adds a finite process for any future domain expansion;
  • links the active roadmap from the root README.

Review note

This PR intentionally does not merge automatically.

Summary by cubic

Rewrites the active roadmap so the repository has a defined finish line, and links it from the root README.md.

  • Marks presentation infrastructure and the causal-inference expansion as complete, and defines the remaining work: PR Add partial identification and bounds lecture #125, Principal Stratification, Time-Varying Treatments/Marginal Structural Models, and a final consolidation.
  • Adds an explicit hard stop after consolidation, after which the causal-inference domain enters maintenance mode and new decks require a roadmap decision.
  • Describes a finite process for any future domain expansion and moves accessibility and citation work to a later roadmap cycle.
  • This PR intentionally does not merge automatically.

Written for commit aacc75c. Summary will update on new commits.

P2: `Partial Identification and Bounds` is listed as remaining work with "current PR #125", but PR #125 was already merged before this roadmap refresh (merge commit `038a189` is an ancestor of the roadmap change `8db4a02`). The deck is fully implemented and registered in CI and validation, so this status is stale: move it into the completed list and drop the hanging "PR #125" reference. The Definition of Done item "1.
