Some useful utilities for parsing the Bitcoin debug log file (typically located at ~/.bitcoin/debug.log)

peerstats.sh

Parses the debug.log file and counts the total number of version messages received, grouped by User-Agent.

Sample output:

$ ./peerstats.sh
