  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)

I think we only show the Create report option if you have a workspace, right? It seems like right now we just always show it. We probably want to follow the same logic as the global create button.

@trjExpensify that being said, why don't we just allow any new account to try to create a report (so always show it in global create and the reports page empty state), and just show the create a workspace modal when they do?

I believe that came back to the "track should be funnelled to off-workspace" using the selfDM instead, and all the business intents created a workspace on sign-up. We're working elsewhere on creating workspaces out the gate for Track intent sign-ups now going forward, so I think we don't need to worry and that will take care of it.

Merged main into this branch and resolved the conflict in SearchFiltersBar.tsx.

Conflict summary: main added useSearchFilterSync to SearchFiltersBar.tsx, but this PR had already extracted that file's logic into useSearchFiltersBar.tsx (shared hook) with SearchFiltersBarNarrow and SearchFiltersBarWide wrapper components.

Resolution:

• Kept the PR's refactored SearchFiltersBar.tsx (minimal wrapper delegating to narrow/wide variants)
• Added the useSearchFilterSync import and call to useSearchFiltersBar.tsx (the shared hook where filterFormValues is computed), which is where it logically belongs after the refactor
