- Service Discovery has been added to templates except for autoscale (coming soon). Users can tag interfaces or VMs, configuring these tags on BIG-IP will allow automatic addition and removal of pool members.
- Cloud WAF (AutoScale ASM) has been updated to use updated to use EC2 instead of ELB for the Health Check Type of the BIG-IP autoscale group. The solution now uses BIG-IP Security Groups and there are enhancements and bug fixes per customer and partner feedback.
- 3-NIC AWS instances are now supported in AWS.
- Cloud LTM (AutoScale LTM) is now supported by F5. Cloud LTM allows users to configure thresholds and have AWS automatically spin up new instances.
- AWS 1 NIC/2NIC/Cluster has been enhanced on GitHub.
- Licensing from BIG-IQ License Manager is now supported on GitHub (built into templates).
- Instances now use gp2 storage for 10 to 15% faster boot times.
- 5Gbps images 1 NIC, 2 NIC, 3 NIC, and the HA CFT templates now have the option of using 5Gbps BIG-IP VE images for higher throughput.
