Welcome to Git For Geeks 2023

Event details :

Git-For-Geeks is an open-source contribution event conducted by the Geeks-for-Geeks Chapter of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.

Do some fantastic projects, put them in your directory, and create a pull request.

  • Use this project to make your first contribution to an open-source project on GitHub. Practice making your first pull request to a public repository before doing the real thing!
  • Celebrate Git-For-Geeks by getting involved in the open-source community by completing some simple tasks in this project.
  • This repository is open to all members of the GitHub community. Any member may contribute to this project.

Step - 1:

Create a GitHub account, if you don't already have one.

Step - 2:

Find good projects worth contributing to on our GitHub page.

You can type label:git-for-geeks is:issue is:open

You can add a language label of your choice to filter open issues. If you are a beginner and can’t find good issues then there’s tag label:good-first-issue which filters out issues for beginners who want to contribute.

Step - 3:

Submit Pull Requests. Try and submit at least 4 Pull Requests and wait for them to be verified. Make sure to submit quality PRs
