I think a new release to PyPi is quite important, hence I support this merge. Especially for the xr_random_sampling function with the new random_seed argument, which is crucial for reproducibility

Planning on doing a new release of
dea-toolsto pypi so functionality added last year is more widely available. Updating stable with any recent changes to the repo before tagging a release.
