- Build UI and server-side components using approved frameworks and best practices
- Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions
- Ensure high performance, standards-based systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects in mature production systems
- Engage with the internal community of practice for continuous improvement
- Maintain high standards of security, privacy, and quality
- Software development processes: Agile, Scrum, Feature-Driven Development
- Strong in distributed systems, SOA, microservices, and relational databases
- Hands-on experience with stored procedures, RESTful APIs, and ORM frameworks
- Solid grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Languages: Java (SE & EE)
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC frameworks
- Testing: Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit
- APIs: RESTful, XML
- Messaging (Nice to have): JMS, Kafka
- Databases: SQL, Stored Procedures
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team
- Great communication skills and adaptability
- Self-motivated and continuously learning mindset
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience/certifications)
