I took the liberty of translating the documentation of this project into the Portuguese language to facilitate the use of this tool by Brazilian students.

I think the readme in your case should be renamed to README.pt-br.md. You could then add a shield to the main readme off to your translated version. You can see an example at https://github.com/jonatasemidio/multilanguage-readme-pattern.

Hello. Looking at the documentation provided more closely, I believe your suggestion applies when there are multiple READMEs in different languages in the same repository. In this case, the fork I made is an independent repository for Brazilian Portuguese. The suggested and formalized approach is beyond the scope since the entire repository is in Portuguese.
