Rationale for this change

The navbar and footer were previously not fully responsive, inconsistently styled across dark and light themes, and lacked proper alignment. This update ensures consistent branding, improved mobile responsiveness, and better user experience by refining layout, spacing, and styling.

What changes are included in this PR?

  • Rewritten CSS for the footer with:
    • Responsive grid layout
    • Proper spacing and alignment
    • Dark mode compatibility
  • Updated footer HTML with clean structure and accessible markup
  • Improved newsletter form styling and layout
  • Styled social icons with hover effects
  • (Optional) JavaScript snippet added to auto-fill the current year in the footer
  • Minor improvements to the navbar (e.g., spacing, color consistency)

Are these changes tested?

Yes, the changes have been manually tested in:

  • Light and dark themes
  • Desktop and mobile views
  • Multiple modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
