Attaching the Rangers

Note: A KSP Editor TIP. Use the ALT(option) key whilst you have a part selected to snap the connectors to the attach points and each other.
Attach a Ranger Docking port to a straight connector on the ring.

Attach a second docking port (right way around) to the first.
Attach a Ranger to the second docking port.

Select the bottom docking port and move the Ranger and docking ports to the angled Ranger attach point on the Ring. (Remember to use ALT key once you have selected the ranger and docking ports to snap it to the angled attach point).


You can copy the first docking ports/Ranger using ALT and left clicking, rotate and attach a second Ranger to the ring.
