• retain the exact complete-frontier comparison for independently assembled or malformed ancestry

On a production-shaped 4,595-member source frontier with 215 retained entries, the bounded source-suffix core completed in about 0.6 ms and 440 shared-buffer hits; complete membership expansion took about 22 ms and 23,515 hits.

Meaningfully changed lines (excluding lockfiles): 88.

Validation

• formatting, workspace check, Clippy, docs, doctests, metadata, and package tests
• targeted PostgreSQL integration tests for compaction usage and continuation headroom
• full workspace suite; only inherited host-dependent timezone-alias and local-socket ancestor-permission tests failed
• exact release deployed to dogfood; clean drain and startup, socket and browser listener healthy

  covered nor uncovered here. Inline #[cfg(test)] modules
  inside a source file are the exception: they are
  instrumented, and they land on both sides. A test body
  that ran counts as covered, which makes every percentage
  below optimistic; the body of an #[ignore]d test no
  measured suite runs counts as uncovered, which puts test
  lines into the file ranking. Read both tables as close,
  not exact.
