I was able to solve problems with memory consumption and performance. Now from a large mesh with blendshapes, a small mesh without blendshapes is generated to save memory. Previously, one character occupied 100 MB of video memory, now 0.7 MB. Previously, generation from a large mesh took 40 seconds (200 blendshapes were processed), now 0.7 seconds. And if you change only one blendshape, it takes only 2-5 ms. I have another idea how to reduce this generation time. As for clothes, I'm thinking about buying the garment tool plugin for blender. The project is not abandoned, just working in the real world takes a lot of time. And I'm lazy.
