Setup

DE

EN

  • After installation, the ESP32 restarts and creates a WLan access point with the name FilaMan. Connect to it and a page with the settings for your own WLan will open.

Note: If this page does not open, but you are correctly connected to the WLan FilaMan, then open the browser and enter http://192.168.4.1.

Configuration

Scale

  • First go to “Scale” and calibrate the scale first. Follow the steps. Have a 500g weight ready, preferably take a glass and fill it with water until it has 500g. The steps are shown on the display when you have started the process.

Scale

If the scale shows incorrect values, you can click “Tare Scale” or perform the calibration again.

Spoolman settings

  • Next, you should connect your Spoolman Instantz. To do this, go to the Spoolman/Bambu page. There you simply enter the URL to your Spoolman instance in the upper area.

Note: Currently you cannot specify CORS domains in Spoolman, but an update for this will probably be coming. Therefore, you must currently run Spoolman in DEBUG and comment out the following line in the .env configuration, i.e. remove the #.

#SPOOLMAN_DEBUG_MODE=TRUE

Bambulab settings

  • If you have a Bambulab Drukcer, you can also connect it to your FilaMan on this page.
  • The necessary settings can be found in the Settings menu on your printer display.
  • If you activate “Auto Send to Bambu”, after weighing with a recognized tag, the system will wait for a new coil in the AMS for as long as you have entered in the field next to it. If a new spool is detected during this time and it has been calibrated with Bambu Studio, the “Bambu foreign” filament is automatically set in the AMS. How this works is explained elsewhere in the Wiki.

Note: The whole Bambu AMS setting only works as long as Bambulab leaves its interface open. If they close it for all printers, as already announced, it will no longer work.
